Hi! We’re Brewlihan. We are a federally licensed winery now open in Oakland Park, Florida. With our license we can produce wine, cider and mead.
What’s mead you might be asking yourself? Sit down for a quick science lesson – yeast eat sugar and the byproduct is alcohol. In wine, grapes provide the sugar source, whereas in cider, apples perform the same function. In mead, we utilize the world’s most expensive form of sugar, honey. Honey, much like grapes can be impacted by region and a number of other factors.
